General SUSE YES Certification Process

  1. The Partner Joins the SUSE One Partner Program.
  2. The Partner chooses the INNOVATE partner specialty and joins the YES program.
    1. The Partner contacts SUSE at certifications@suse.com to request a YES program contract.
    2. The Partner reviews, signs and returns contract to SUSE.

Note: By signing the contract, partner agrees to support any YES Certified partner product(s) in a SUSE environment.

    1. SUSE countersigns the contract and creates a quote for applicable program fees.
    2. The Partner sends any applicable program fees to SUSE.
  1. The Partner provides contact information of assigned company contact(s) to SUSE.
  2. The Partner provides their company logo to SUSE.
  3. SUSE will set assigned contact(s) up in the program, providing access to:
  • YES Certification Tool Kit
  • YES Certification Documentation
  • YES Certification Training Videos
  • SUSE Bulletin System (SBS) for submitting YES Certification test results
  • YES Certified logos
  1. The Partner downloads the YES Certification Tool Kit / Documentation
  2. The Partner sets up a test environment & performs appropriate YES Certification tests.
  3. The Partner submits test results to SUSE via the SUSE Bulletin System (SBS).

Once a partner solution successfully completes YES Certification testing and is submitted, the test results are validated by SUSE Partner Engineering and published to the YES Certified Bulletin Search website. At this point the partner is permitted to display the YES Certified logo on product documentation, webpages, or other marketing materials.

It is the YES Certified logo that tells customers and end-users that the solution is both certified to function properly with SUSE Linux Enterprise software and is jointly supported by the certification partner and SUSE.

SUSE strongly recommends that customers deploy partner solutions that are YES Certified. Published YES Certification bulletins and SUSE reference architectures have been explicitly tested and are ideal for production deployments with SUSE software.

For more information about the SUSE YES Certification program, please check the SUSE YES Certification Program Guide.
